How to Wash your Car Properly

First, realize that this is not very fun. Also consider the $20.00 you are saving. This is why you chose to do it. Start by spraying the entire car down, preferably out of the sun. Once all dirt and grime is off, fill a bucket with water and car soap. Begin scrubbing the paint with a soft cloth or sponge. Do not press too hard as it could cause scratches. Be sure to start from the top as the bottom is usually much dirtier. The last thing your wash is the wheels. You may want to use a seperate rag for this as they often have a lot of black brake dust on them. After the entire car is soapy, begin to rinse. Deliver a misty spray so that the soap will rinse faster. Be sure to spray under the car to rinse off any road salt as it rusts metal. Now you begin to dry the car. Use either a chamois cloth or another absorbant material that is designed for cars. As you dry, wring the water off of the cloth. Drying prevents ugly water marks which develop when water dries on the paints surface.
If you are really serious you can now clean the cars interior. Use glass cleaner on all windows and morrors. Remove the floor mats and shake them out on the ground. There will be loose sand and wrappers under them so you may want to vacuum as well. Wipe down the dash and instrument panel with a armarol wipe to remove dust and create a nice shine. Make sure there is no garbage or last months McDonald's fries under the seats. Wipe down the seats also with an interior spray. Now you can put everything back together and enjoy a clean, fresh smelling vehicle.

Current Book

The book that i am currently reading is called Bottled Up, by Jaye Murray. So far my book is very much to my liking. This is very obvious to me as i am well over half way done with it and time seems to fly by when i read it. I like the book very much because of it's active and realistic descriptions. It is largely about a troubled 16 year old boy who is flunking out of high school due to cutting class, drinking alcohol, and marijuana use. The boy is forced to deal with a very troubled family as his father is an abusive alcoholic, and the boy is burdened to take care of his 6 year old brother. I predict that he will recover and get out of this slump that he is in. This is only because of his school principal. He told him to go to counseling, or he will be expelled. As far as i can tell he is heading in the right direction and is on his way to succeed.

Why we enjoy reading

For some people reading is very enjoyable and fun. For others, it is pure torture and makes them grind their teeth. I think that choosing a book that you are interested in is the key to enjoyable reading. I personally hate reading a book that i hold no interest in and feel that this is a complete waste of time. When reading one of these unfavorable books, i notice how i sit and read while my mind wanders elsewhere, so i could read an entire page and not know what just happened.

I am not what I would call an avid reader, but occasionally enjoy reading a book outside of school. For me this is an opportunity to relax, escape into the book, and pass time while feeling as if I am being productive. I also believe that reading enhances ones imagination and improves their vocabulary and grammer skills. I highly recommend reading books to everybody. Just find what you are interested in and you will be very happy.
